Beth, a fashion stylist in New York, was desperately looking for a bridesmaid dress for her sister's wedding. Never having had a fashion dilemma she couldn't solve, Beth set out shopping to find the perfect bridesmaid dress and for the first time found herself empty handed.

That evening at dinner, Beth shared her fashion dilemma with her friend Sophie, a downtown designer fresh out of Parsons.

Sophie, sad to see Beth so dismayed, suddenly realized she was the girl to come to the rescue. Over a delicious tiramisu, they decided to collaborate and design the perfect bridesmaid dress.

On the wedding day, while the bride twirled joyfully on the dance floor with her new husband, Beth and Sophie gleefully accepted compliments on their 8 beautiful bridesmaid dresses.

Basking in the light of their new found fashion fame, they realized their mission was far from over, there were many stylish bridesmaids-to-be in need of their help...On that day THREAD was born.
